Office space design for a music company
THE
CLIENT
The client is modeled off of a music technology company. Instead of workstations in the open, departments use ‘team rooms’ – semi-enclosed or enclosed spaces that have access to light, desks, and wall space for whiteboards and TV monitors. The client has a ‘work from anywhere’ model – employees can work from home or in the office as they please. Because of this, employees in the office need to be able to video conference with team members working from home in almost any space in the office.
THE CONCEPT
Hold’s office evokes home by creating intensely tranquil spaces that see work and comfort as equal. Every decision is influenced by aspects of a cell, making each space organic, simple and functional. Various levels of rhythm, displayed through color and layout, capture the essence of music and consciously divide spaces. Three hubs create destinations in the flow of circulation. Overall, the goal is to create a work environment unlike any other.
