Museum introducing a new form of art in an unexpected format

THE
MISSION

Seamlessly integrating into the SoWa artist collective, Boston Works of Light will showcase a relatively new and eccentric form of art; light art. 10 internationally renowned and local light artists will be showcased. The “experience tank” will rotate exhibitions, allowing for upcoming light artists to display their work. Overall, emphasizing joy, fun, and innovation for a world seeking that more than ever.

THE CONCEPT

A 24-hour opening schedule will allow visitors to experience light art in new formats. Small group tours during daytime will show each exhibit for 10 minutes, while visitors roam the Circuit bars and lounge at night. The interior architecture will support the history of the building and its industrial components. Finally, materially will separate day and night spaces.
